The Marie Halun
Bloch Library provides materials for education and research.

The library listings
are a gift to UCI by Hilary Hopkins. The library is a collection of
rare and current tomes from the collection of her mother, Marie Halun Bloch.
A number of books authored by Ms Bloch are in secure section of the library.
(Inquire to see these). UCI's accumulation are purchases from Harvard
University duplicates, books from the Gorham and the Belfield Orthodox
Churches Prosvita Libraries, gifts from Dr. & Mrs. Bohdan Hordinsky, Fr.
Michael Bobersky and new releases.
The UCI Archives
were established to safe keep the transcripts of interviews conducted in
1940's and 1983-1984. AMong this collection are biographies of
veterans, pioneers, Catholic, Orthodox and Protestant Churches, studio and
candid photos (many photos are wedding pictures), pictures and slides taken
in Ukraine during the tours in 1984, 1990, 1996 ans 1999, and interviews on
cassettes and CE's. Recent acquisition is the East European
Genealogist.
Thirty three
portraits of pioneers, 10x12, framed in acid free paper are in the UCI
collection. The portraits were taken by Clay Jenkinson aka Thomas
Jefferson.
